A. At Monuments
USA we understand purchasing a memorial can be a somewhat confusing
task. That’s why we offer you expertise with a personal touch. We
sell the most superior quality granite memorials and only the
highest quality memorial products. Our prices are much lower than
funeral homes, cemeteries and local retail monument dealers. In
addition, we offer the convenience of being able to choose items
from our extensive online catalog that is easy to read and follow.
You do not need to
e-mail us for a quote and wait for someone to get back to you on
monuments listed on our website. Pleased do contact us by
email/phone regarding the details of lettering, epitaphs and
specific instructions etc. We are
here to assist you.
Q. Can I place an
order and have it shipped to another state?
A. Yes. That’s one
of the wonderful conveniences of ordering everything right here.
Q. What is your
average delivery time?
A. Delivery time
is approx 8-12 weeks for granite memorials. Family plot monuments could possibly take from 90 -180
days. The
delivery
time mentioned above is approximate and cannot be guaranteed.
So please plan ahead.
Q. What is your
Guarantee?
A. At Monuments USA
we have a Perpetual Warranty that is transferable to your heirs. We
certify that the Memorial you purchase from Monuments USA is made
form the best quality Granite materials. We guarantee your Memorial
will be free of natural defects that will result in a crack or break
in the granite and we will replace or repair it at no cost to you
should it prove to be defective. We guarantee your memorials will
be made to the specifications you approved. Should there be an
error on our part, we will replace it at no cost to you. Monuments
USA stands behind every Memorial we sell.
Q. Where will my monument be delivered?
A. We will ship
monuments to any Cemetery or business address you provide to us.
Q. Do you ship
monuments to residential addresses?
A. Small
headstones can be shipped to a residential address with certain
restrictions. There is an extra charge from the freight company. The
fee is based on the weight, but usually is about $100. All other
memorials must be delivered to a cemetery or business address.
Although we will do our very best to assist you, It is the sole
responsibility of the purchaser to ensure delivery address is
correct and that the item you ordered is allowed to be delivered to
that address. We are not responsible for deliveries refused by
Cemeteries and business locations.
Q. Can you engrave
in a foreign language?
Yes, we can engrave
in most foreign languages. We will need an exact copy of what you
would like in the language of your choice. Some foreign language
lettering has an additional cost because of the difficulty engraving
certain characters, so please inquire about the price when making
your order.
Q. Will the
Cemetery accept a Memorial purchased from you?
A. Yes, they must
as long as it meets the cemetery’s rules and regulation for size,
color, style, etc. Please call your cemetery for these rules and
regulations.
Q. Can I install
the monument myself?
A. Although it can
be done, we recommend getting someone experienced to install the
Memorial. We will assist you in finding an installer.
Q. Can I Pour the
Cement Foundation myself?
A. If the Cemetery
allows it, you can pour it yourself. If you choose to do so, please
make sure you do it properly.
Q. How Do I arrange
installation of a monument?
A. Usually the
cemetery installs granite monuments. If they do, we ship directly
to the cemetery unless their rules state otherwise. If not, you can contact a local
monument dealer or contractor who will arrange to have it installed
for you. You will then pay the installer for his service. We will
assist you in finding someone to install the memorial.
Q. How do I arrange
Installation of a Memorial Bench?
The same situation
applies for memorial benches as Monuments.
Q. What additional
costs may I incur?
A. Your additional
costs will be the Cemetery's or Monument installers foundation and
installation fees. Other fees may be if a lift gate is required at a
shipping address that doesn't have equipment to unload the Memorial.
If you need a home delivery on smaller headstones, there will be an
additional fee from the freight company for this service.
Q. What payment
types do you offer?
A. We accept
most commonly used credit cards, such as Visa
& Master Card. We also accept payment by wire transfers and Money Orders.
Q. What is your
cancellation policy?
You have 48 hours
to cancel your order.
Q. What is your
return policy?
A. Granite
monuments involve personalized engraving and custom work, therefore
they cannot be returned or refunded.
Q. What if my
Memorial is damaged upon delivery?
A. With regards to
cemetery memorials - Any item damaged en route form our location to
its destination can be returned and replaced as it was originally
ordered. Once safely delivered in good condition and signed for, we
are not responsible for any damage that may be done by the cemetery
or anyone you have set the memorial. Also, we will accept return of
any item that has an error on our part that reflects a different
design form the design you approved, but if a memorial is made to
specifications according to your order, there are no refunds or
returns. Also, we may require that a photo be sent to us showing the
damage or error before we accept a return of an item. Please call us
or e-mail us immediately if you encounter a problem upon delivery.
Do not send item
back without contacting us first.
Doing this may
cause delays and or additional shipping charges to you. Any other
item we sell that is shipped to home - we replace damaged item with
same item originally ordered.
Please contact us
immediately if you receive damaged items.
